Summary of Case:
On August 19, 2005, Scott + Scott filed a complaint alleging violations of the federal securities laws by Host America Corporation and certain of its officers and directors. The class action was commenced in the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut on behalf of purchasers of Host America securities between July 12, 2005 and September 1, 2005, (the "Class Period").
On April 10, 2006, the Carolantic Group was appointed lead plaintiff to monitor the litigation on the class's behalf and Scott + Scott was appointed lead counsel.
Plaintiffs filed a consolidated complaint on June 15, 2006.
A settlement has been announced in the securities class action against Host America (CAFE).
